Dad

To my Dad, I want to celebrate the time we all had with you. Although your life was short, it was a great journey. I love you so much! I miss you every day. I sometimes even drive past your house to see if it is well kept. Life will never be the same without you here with us. So for the time being we will get by, but not without missing you. another catch

For Christmas, just 16 days before my dad passed away, I bought him a new tackle box with a few fishing accessories and a gift certificate to a fishing store. A few weeks prior he had gone on a fishing trip with some friends. When he returned he told me he was embarrassed about the small tackle box he had. His friends had teased him about it during the trip. He expressed to me the fun he had and was excited to possibly be invited again. Obviously this was going to be a great gift... so I thought. Unfortunately, he never had the opportunity to use it. I still think he would have enjoyed it. I'm sorry dad. I love you! Jo
